Autumn Equinox Gathering

This gathering honors the Autumn Equinox - the threshold between seasons. We move from the bright expanse of summer into the darker, more introspective embrace of autumn. The eclipse season becomes our catalyst, guiding us to release what has stretched too far, and to welcome softness, warmth, and the quiet within.

The experience begins with a cacao ceremony led by Scarlett Grae, inviting you to arrive fully, set intention, and attune to the energy of the season ahead. From there, Ashley will guide a gentle meditation to help you turn inward, let go of what no longer serves, and soften into presence.

As the meditation closes, you’ll be carried into sound by Blythe, whose voice and sound bowls create an atmosphere of resonance and release. Within this soundscape, you’ll be guided to begin working with clay - shaping simple vessels or altar pieces as containers for your own intentions.

The making process then unfolds into a spacious, self-guided flow. As you continue forming your clay pieces at your own pace, Blythe’s live sound bath will carry you deeper into reflection and creativity.

This is more than a workshop.

It is a journey of transition - from summer to autumn, from light to shadow, from outer to inner. You’ll leave not only with what you’ve created in clay, but also with the imprint of a meaningful evening shared in community.

Meet: Scarlett Grae - @iamscarlettgrae

ree

Scarlett Grae is a mixed-heritage artist with Mexican and Potawatomi roots, born in the United States and adopted and raised in Northern B.C. in Canada. Her work explores themes of identity, connection, and transformation. Since 2021, she has developed a body of work rooted in coloured pencil and is now expanding into acrylic and mixed media, reflecting a deeper turn toward personal expression and inner exploration.

Her creative journey is closely tied to ceremony. Scarlett felt a deep call to the Moon Dance, a women’s ceremony born in Mexico and recreated from codices, oral teachings, and ancestral traditions. Joining for the first time, she broke a four-day fast with cacao in the jungles of Mexico, an experience that felt like coming home. The Moon Dance is a nine-day immersion where women fast from solids, dance four nights under the moon, and learn through teachings and practices that connect them deeply with Mother Nature and with themselves. This initiation opened a new path for Scarlett, inspiring her to weave spirituality and art.

Today, she guides circles that bring together intention setting, meditation, painting, and sound, creating immersive spaces for presence, healing, and community. Through her art and ceremonial practice, Scarlett seeks to offer spaces where creativity becomes a pathway for connection, reflection, and transformation. Blythe Hubbard - @blythehubbard

Ashley Levii - @ashleyleviiwellness

Ashley Levii is a yoga and movement teacher, holistic wellness mentor, and new mom who approaches life as a practice of presence. For her, holding space is an act of respect - a way of creating room for others to lay their guard down, listen inward, and rise into their most capable and confident selves. She believes yoga is not about postures but about meeting life with steadiness, breath, and honesty.

Motherhood has deepened this path, teaching her new rhythms of patience, strength, and love that flow into the spaces she holds. Ashley invites others to slow down, to notice, and to step closer to the quiet truth of who they are. Anthony Kerr @anthkerr.art
