Our concept:

We are an outdoor private lot on which we host artisan markets, live music, food trucks and beer garden. We have a kid zone and a dog zone. 
Why We Keep Vendor Fees Low:

-At The Marketplace Kitsilano, our mission is to support local creators, artists, and small businesses by offering low vendor fees — like our $10 Thursdays & Fridays.

These market days are designed to give you exposure, help you build brand recognition, and allow you to showcase your work to the community.

Please note: While sales are always welcomed, these low-fee days are more about marketing your brand than guaranteed profits. It's a chance to get your name out there!

We also encourage all vendors to promote their presence — share your setup, tag us on socials, and let your network know you're at The Marketplace Kitsilano. We'll do our part too by highlighting vendors on our social media and newsletter.

The market set up: 
- We have large tents with rain and wind protection with lighting. You can set up under the tent (first come first serve) or bring your own tent and set up.
- If you bring your own tent, no extra charge. 
- We have no electricity available
- Loading zone on both back or west 4th. If you bring your car in, be quick to allow other vendors to load as well
- Additional lighting is recommended.

Market rules: 
- We can't accept open foods, home-prepared foods, and perishable foods 
- Only book what you want to attend and pay for.
- If accepted, an invoice will be sent within 24h of receiving your application.. You are required to pay the invoice within 24h of receiving it. If not honored, you might not be considered for future markets. 
- Table sharing is allowed
- No refunds.
- We cannot accept late arrivals. Make sure to arrive on time for market opening. Late arrival will result in forfeiting your fees.
